Practical Life

In Practical Life, the child will learn all the necessary life skills that he will need. He uses materials that mimic what he sees around him in his daily life. This area is broken into four main areas - Care of the Person, Care of the Environment, Grace and Courtesy and Development of Movement. Through these everyday activities, the child will develop focus, concentration, fine/gross motor skills, coordination, self-confidence and independence. Practical life activities are the necessary foundation for all future learning.
