In Sensorial, a child's senses are isolated and awakened. Self-correcting materials help the child to isolate individual senses such as sight, touch, sound, smell and taste. Montessori materials such us the Rough and Smooth board and Baric Tablets, are used to stimulate a child's tactile sense while the Knobbed Cylinders and Pink Tower allow the child to visually discriminate height, width and depth. As with the practical life activities, the child is also continuing to develop his coordination, concentration, focus and independence as he works with these materials.
